Description

Delightfully Refreshing pure exotic fruit sorbet with a hint of mint and nutmeg. Delicious in-between course pallet cleanser or a light dessert

Method

  1. 1

Pour 500ml of fruit juice into an ice cream maker, mix in the icing sugar and drop in finely chopped berries - try black current or strawberries, add a small pinch of nutmeg. let the mixture turn. It will set into a fine sorbet, spoon it into little ramekins (its a good idea to re cool them in the freezer). Finnish off with a leaf of mint. Wrap each ramekin in cling film and keep in freezer till you ready to serve. Serve with a few berries for that extra touch!

Chef's Tips

...best to use 100% pure fruit juice, avoid at all cost things labelled as "fruit drink" these are not 100% fruit juice.
