    Melt the golden syrup, caster sugar and butter in a saucepan. Bring slowly to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes until a light toffee colour. Stir in the fruit, peel and nuts. Dust the tart cases with icing sugar. Spoon in the warm nut mixture and leave to set.
