Description

simple and tasty one pot cooking

Method

  1. 1

On a medium heat Melt 1 table spoon of butter or oil in a cooking pot, add in cumin, 1/2 stock cube, onions and garlic and fry until soft and remove from pot.
Add a little more oil and brown your lamb seasoning with salt, pepper, wostershire sauce and remaining stock cube, keep the meat moving in the pot so that the meat doesn't burn
When the most of the meat has changed colour add about 4 oz of water and the onions and garlic back in the pot. Put the lid on, turn down heat slightly and leave to cook but not boil for 15 mins add some more water if needed and be careful meat doesnt burn at bottom of the pot

Peel your potato and chop in small 2cm pieces add to pot and add frozen peas ( you shouldn't need anymore water as frozen peas will let off water while cooking )
Put lid back on and leave it for about another 10-15 mins or until potatoes are cooked
Finish with a knob of butter and serve with fresh french bread and chopped corriander sprinkled over the top
