- small bunch basil chopped
- 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- ยฝ bottle passata
- 1 kg potatoes
- 150 ml milk
- 2 tbsp. basil pesto
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes

Yummy dinner option for saving money. Make a double portion and freeze it.

1. Mix the mince with half the chopped basil, the worcestershire sauce and some seasoning, then roll into meatballs a little smaller than a golf ball.
2. Chopped the onion and garlic and fry until soft and translucent then add the tin of chopped tomatoes, passata and chopped basil
3. Grill the meatballs for 5 mins then turn them and do another 5 mins on the other side.
4. Add the meatballs to the tomato mix, and simmer for about 10 mins.
4.Make the mash - boil the potatoes for about 10 minutes and drain. Add 2 tbsp of butter and the milk and mash together and then add pesto and stir through.
Chef's Tips
I use quite a bit of butter in my mash it makes it taste nicer
