Accompaniment
SponsoredOrigin Pinot Grigio Organic
The nation's favourite tipple in an organic bundle. A great value wine,Β from Italy's ever popular Pinot Grigio grape. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy pear and peach notes and soft floral aromas
Description
A recipe my sister recommended to serve with meatballs and pasta. Tomato sauce has the tendancy to be a bit boring but the white wine in this one makes it a bit gorgeous!
Method

1
Melt butter, fry onions until soft. Add basil and oregano for 2-3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, puree, stock, wine and sugar. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 30 mins or until sauce has reduced a little. Season to taste with pepper.
Chef's Tips
I use veg stock.
Can be frozen.
