- 50g Whole Carrot
- 25g Leek
- 1 ยฝ litres Stock
- 50g Onion
- 50g Streaky Bacon
- 50g Butter
- 1 slice Bread (for croutons)

At the Tideswell School of Food we love using the freshest in season ingredients! Peas are at their seasonal peak in June so why not make the most of them with this lovely recipe!
Method

1.Wash peas in cold water and drain
2.Place in thick bottomed pan cover with cold water or stock
3.Bring to boil and skim
4.Add remainder of ingredients and season lightly
5.Simmer until tender, skim when necessary
6.Remove carrot and ham
7.Liquidise
8.Reboil, correct seasoning and consistency
9.Dice bacon and add to soup
10.Garnish with croutons
