Description
My all time favourite dinner - an Assyrian staple which everyone loves. Slightly spicey, very tasty, you'll definitely go back for seconds.
Method

1
Fry the onions and crushed garlic.
Remove from pan.
Add diced lamb and fry quickly to seal.
Put lid on pan and let lamb cook in own juices for 20 mins with bones if you have them (add a bit of water if it loks a bit dry).
Add the garlic, onions, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper and lemon juice.
Stir.
Add chopped tomatoes and boil for about 15 mins with lid on.
Add the green beans and cook for at least another 20 mins - the longer the better really though to let the flavours develop.
Chef's Tips
Serve with steamed basmati rice and salad.
It tastes even better the next day after the flavours have infused even more!
mmmmmmm - delicious!
