- 5 oz margarine
- few drops almond essence
- blanched almonds

1. Heat oven to 180c / 350 F/ Gas 4 and grease 2 baking trays
2. Mix together the dry ingredients and rub in the margarine
3. Add the essence and mix well bringing together with your hands
4. Roll out thinly and cut into rounds. Place half a blanched almond in the centre of each one
5. Place on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes
Makes approx 20 biscuits
