- 6 oz self raising flour

its the first recipe my mam taught me to make...and ive been making them ever since..everyone loves how they melt in your mouth as you tske your first bite....

mix toghter 2.0unces of maragrine...
mix 4 ounces of sugar.....
and 6 ounces of self raising flour.....
mix all toghter in large bowl adding some water to make it turn into a soft dough...
roll out ..so its nice and thin....
cut into shapes and put into the oven gas mark 5..for about 24 minutes ..or until golden brown...
Shake some sugar onto a plate then add the biscuits on to cool down...add more sugar on top oof melts ..just a sprinkle...
