Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Method

  1. 1

Melt margarine, honey, golden syrup and vanilla extract in a saucepan over a low heat.
Stir in Bicarb of Soda until foamy.
Put all dry ingredients into a bowl and add the melted mixture. Mix well.
Turn into a greased 8/9 inch loose bottomed baking tin and press down until level.
Bake for approx 20 minutes at 160 C fan oven or Gas 4/5.
Cut into 12 squares whilst still hot and still in the tin.
Cool squares on a wire rack.
Store in an airtight tin. Great for lunchboxes.

(Adjust the sugar content if you like things a little sweeter. You could also use different seeds if you wish.)

This is my own recipe made for my husband who does not have a sweet tooth. It is a lot cheaper than buying boxes of cereal bars!!!
