Origin Pinot Grigio Organic

The nation's favourite tipple in an organic bundle. A great value wine,Β from Italy's ever popular Pinot Grigio grape. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy pear and peach notes and soft floral aromas

Description

These makes loads of patties, full of flavour, healthier and lighter than a normal burger. Very nice. I made it up.

Method

  1. 1

Fry the onion and pepper, finely chopped both, at low heat for 5 mins, until a bit transparent. Then disolve the stocktube mashing it with a wooden spoon in the pan.
Add the quorn mince and let cook for 10 mins, stirring here and there.

Drain the cooked chickpeas (the only ones that are properly cooked in the can that I like are Napolina's, supermarkets' own brand etc need to be boiled for 5 mins or so before you can use them). Mash them with a fork or with a 2 seconds touch in the food processor.

Take the mixture off the heat and add the chickpeas and the breadcrumbs. Wait until it's cooled down and blend in the 2 eggs.

Fry in batches. I initially did this with the intention of making burgers, but it was too crumbly, hence the "patties".
