Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

This is a fantastic crunchy rhubarb that my friend recommended to me. It tastes wonderful and I really recommend all of you to try it! Yummy!

Method

  1. 1

Cut and peal the rhubarbs in small pieces and put them in a baking dish. Powder some sugar on it.

    Melt 150 g butter,
poor in 0.5 dl syrup and 1 dl cream, whip together and draw of the pot.

    Mix together:
2 dl flour, 2,5 dl oat meal, 1 teaspoun baking powder and 2 dl sugar.

Now blend with what's in the pot,(be aware, don't let it stand on the pot while blending)

Put the sticky goo on top of the rhubarbs, bake in oven for 25-30 minutes for 175 degrees celsius, or until the surface is a bit crunchy. Eat with ice-cream and enjoy!

Chef's Tips

Dry the rhubarbs a little so that they aren't so wet.

Thanks Master Chef that is really helpful. Sorry we are still struggling with the metric system here in the UK. Thanks for coming back to me so quickly though. I will be cooking your Rhubarb Pie this weekend for some friends. I will let you know how I get on. Regards. June
