Ingredients
- 300g plain flour
- 2tsp baking powder
- Pinch Salt
- 170g butter softened
- 150g caster sugar
- 150g light brown sugar
- ยฝ tsp Vanilla essence
- 275g bananas (peeled weight)
- 1 egg beaten
- 285g milk chocolate chips

Description
This receipe was given to me by my friend Brian at work who knew I liked making cakes. It is the most requested cake at work as it's so moist, bananary and chocolatey!
Method

1. Preheat oven to 190C. Line 20x25cm (8x10in) roasting tin with baking parchment.
2. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
3. Add vanilla essence, bananas and egg, mashing in the bananas until well incorporated.
4. Sieve in flour, baking powder and salt and fold into mixture. Add chocolate chips.
5. Put in tin, spreading mixture flat and bake for 40-45 minutes until mixture golden brown and will spring bake when top lightly pressed.
6. Leave to cool in tin and then cut into slices.
