Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

This receipe was given to me by my friend Brian at work who knew I liked making cakes. It is the most requested cake at work as it's so moist, bananary and chocolatey!

Method

  1. 1

    1. Preheat oven to 190C. Line 20x25cm (8x10in) roasting tin with baking parchment.

    2. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

    3. Add vanilla essence, bananas and egg, mashing in the bananas until well incorporated.

    4. Sieve in flour, baking powder and salt and fold into mixture. Add chocolate chips.

    5. Put in tin, spreading mixture flat and bake for 40-45 minutes until mixture golden brown and will spring bake when top lightly pressed.

    6. Leave to cool in tin and then cut into slices.
