Ingredients
- 3 Large Onions. Sliced
- 1.5 Litres Beef Stock
- 6 Tbls Tomato Puree
- 4 Tbls Hot Paprika
- ยฝ Cup Flour
- 1kg Brisket of Beef. Diced into large chunks
- 2 Tbls Olive Oil
- Dollop sour cream (optional)
- 400g Taglitelle

My mum used to make this for me, its exceptionally simple and very tasty indeed.
Method

1. Put the flour on a plate and season well. Coat the beef with the seasoned flour and fry with the oil in a large saucepan till browned. Once browned set the beef aside.
2. Add the Onions to the pan and fry till translucent.
3. Add the tomato puree to the onions and fry for a couple more minutes.
4. Now add the Stock, browned off Beef and Paprika to the pan, bring to the boil and simmer for 2 โ 2 and half hours till the beef is tender and the sauce is rich and a nice consistency.
5. Serve with Tagliatelle (trust me it goes really well together) and a dollop of sour cream.
I can vouch for My Mum's Goulash, I too loveit and often cook this savoury stew although I add other veg and sometimes do it in a slow cooker which my brother never would I also use garlic
