Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- 4-6 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ยฝ teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs (thyme, rosemary, basil)
- 1 teaspoon rock salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 chopped garlic
- 1 sliced ginger
- 1 chopped onion

A variation of the middle eastern kebabs.

In a bowl, add the olive oil, garlic olive oil and chilli infused oil.
Roll the chicken legs in the bowl and coat it with the oils.
Use a mortar and pestle to grind all the spices to a fine
powder.
Coat the chicken legs with most of the spices. Marinate the
chicken in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Pre-heat the oven in 200 C for 5 minutes. Brush the chicken with some more oil and roast in the oven for 20 minutes
Meanwhile, in a pan heat some plain olive oil and saute the onions, ginger and garlic.
Add the sliced belle peppers, remaining spices and continue to saute in low heat.
Remove the chicken legs from the oven and fry in the pan in medium heat until fully cooked.

Chef's Tips
As an alternate, you can use lamb chops instead of chicken legs. Serve with white pitta bread and natural yoghurt.
