Fleurie Georges Duboeuf

The most favored of all the Beaujolais Cru, Fleurie enjoys a very floral bouquet with a refined, smooth taste. An elegant, beautifully made more-ish red with wild strawberry fruit and a fleshy texture.Buy this wine if you like: Light-bodied red with ripe fruit, perfect slightly chilled on a warm summer afternoon.

Method

  1. 1

Chop all veg, i usually grate one of the carrots and sometimes the potato.

For the broth mix you could just buy a bag of it from the shops, but i personally don,t like the dried peas that are always in it so i make my own, you could also add some rice if you wanted to.

Add a couple of handfuls in with the veg. Saute with a large knob of butter for few minutes.

    Then add stock.

Simmer for about 45-50 minutes until the pulses and veg are cooked.

At the end add in chopped parsley and salt and pepper.
