- 500g mushrooms.halved
- a splash olive oil to fry
- 2 garlic cloves. crushed
- Sweet Chilli Sauce
- pint double cream

Melt butter in a heavy based frying pan and add a splash of olive oil
Add mushrooms, when almost cooked add garlic, cream and good dollop of sweet chilli sauce.
Cook until thick and creamy.
Serve on griddled crusty bread.
This was made for me a few months ago and was absolutely fantastic so am going to make it for some friends tomorrow!
I thought to try this starter out - couldn't believe how simple it was to make and everyone loved it! Brill!!! You can add more sweet chilli to bring it to a stronger flavour if you wish for the tingy taste!
Tried this recipe at the weekend for a starter and it is to die for....
