Cardamom and rose water add a touch of the exotic to this chilled out shake made with Alpro Hazelnut drink.

At least two hours before you start, chop the banana and freeze. (You could freeze a few while you are at it, then you’ll always have one ready.)
Use a pestle and mortar to grind the cardamom seeds to a powder, and dilute the espresso with a tablespoon of boiling water.
Blend the Alpro Hazelnut drink, coffee, cardamom powder and frozen banana in a food processor.
Add a drop of the rose water if desired, give it one final blitz and serve over ice.
Chef's Tips
Served in pretty glasses with a sprinkle of freshly shaved dark chocolate or a few sugar-coated coffee beans, this makes a memorable desert.
