easy for kids and adults, really nice and filling.

   preheat oven to 190C, gas mark 5. grease a baking tray.
   2)rub the butter into the dry ingredients with fingertips until the mixtures like breadcrumbs.
   3)stir in the syrup and enough milk to form a soft dough, knead well.
   4)place small spoonfuls of the mixture onto the greased baking tray then flattern using a fork.
   5)bake for 15-20 minuets.
   6)move to a wire rack to cool and crisp.
