Description

An easy to cook Spanish starter for hot summer nights - or to remind you of them, but take care - very hot oil and oven gloves must be used - not for those who don't love garlic!

Method

  1. 1

Before cooking, make sure that you have heat resistant pads to protect your table, as the dishes will be very hot, also oven gloves for holding the dishes.

Prepare the above ingredients and divide into a pile for each person.

Place the dishes on the heat and pour about 1/8 inch of olive oil into each. Heat until oil is very hot, then drop in ingredients, and cook until prawns go white, turning once (about 1 minute).

Sprinkle the parsley over the prawns, then carefully carry the dishes to the table.

Serve with crusty bread to soak up the garlic oil - enjoy!!
