Description
This is easy comfort food, and my son loves it. My mum used to make it when I was a kid, and I think the pineapple gives it a really nice twist.
Method
-
1
Put pasta on to cook.
Meanwhile, melt butter in frying pan, add milk, add tuna(you may want to mash it with a fork first to get rid of any big chunks), drain pineapple and add, add sweetcorn and peas and cheddar cheese.
When pasta is cooked, drain and add. Mix well.
Add cornflour paste to thicken to desired consistency.
Transfer to casserole dish, cover with breadcrumbs and top with more cheese. Bake in moderate oven till cheese is golden.
Chef's Tips
I dont really use exact quantities for this, as I got this from my mum years ago and the written recipe is long gone, so add as much or little peas, sweetcorn and cheese as you wish.
