Muscat Beaumes de Venise Sweet Wine

Beaumes is famed for its wine made from the Muscat grape. Rich, sweet and luscious with a touch of white flower on the finish. A delicious and subtle dessert wine. Buy this wine if you like: Sweet dessert wines that are lighter in style.

Description

Imagine the delightful contrast of creamy white chocolate, perfectly complemented by the aromatic touch of rosemary and a sprinkle of sea salt. This recipe transforms simple ingredients into elegant shards that are not only a treat for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes. Once set, these shards can be broken into pieces of your desired size, making them an irresistible addition to any dessert platter or a sweet snack to enjoy on their own.

Method

  1. 1

Gently melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan containing a little simmering water.

  2. 2

    Stir in the remaining ingredients.

  3. 3

Pour on to a tray lined with greaseproof paper (we used a swiss roll tin, 36cm x 25cm x 2cm).

  4. 4

Smooth the top and refrigerate until set, at least 3 hours.

  5. 5

Break into shards the size of your choice (you should get roughly 30, as a guide).
