Simple Polpettone of Tuna

Based on Elizabeth David 1954 traditional recipe from 'Italian Food'

   Mash tuna in the oil from the tin.
   
   Beat egg and stir into tuna mix.
   
   Stir in black pepper and capers.
   
   Roll into a sausage shape in food grade cling film, twisting the ends.
   
   Place in a pan of boiling water and simmer for an hour.
   
   Remove and cool, chill and slice.
