Ingredients
- 1 Marrow
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Large Carrots, diced
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1tsp Cumin powder
- ยฝ tsp Ground Ginger
- ยฝ tsp Turmeric
- 2-3 cups Lentils
- Salt & Black Pepper to season
- 250g Grated Cheese
- 2-3 bags Plain Crisps

1. Slice the Marrow in half length-ways and scoop out the seeds.
2. Fry the onion in a large saucepan until soft, add spices and fry for a further 2-3 minute. Add carrots and stir until coated with the spices.
3. Stir in the lentils then add enough boiling water to cover. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer until lentils are cooked. Add a little more water if it becomes too dry.
4. Once lentils are cooked stir in about 200g of the cheese, reserving the rest for the topping.
5. Fill the marrows with the lentil mixture.
6. Make the topping by crushing the crisps and mixing with the grated cheese. Cover the marrows with the mixture.
7. Bake in the oven at 190 C until the marrow is cooked (this may take more or less time depending on the size of the marrow).
