Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

Easy and satisfying!! Quantities make for a big portion for 2 people - we have healthy appetites!!

Method

  1. 1

Please note that quantities are a rough guide, I just chuck stuff in until it smells or tastes right!!

    1. Peel potatoes and chop into wedge shapes. This also workes with diced if you'd prefer.
    2. Put potatoes in a mixing bowl with the oil, rosemary, garlic and salt and pepper. Stir until coated and place on a baking tray. Pop in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees.
    3. Fry onions until soft in a little oil and place to one side. This works best if you don't clean the frying pan just yet!!
    4. In a mixing bowl add the minced meat, worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt and pepper and onions, and mash together until really mixed and shapeable.
    5. Make burgers from the meat mix, I find this easiest by making a ball and then squishing flat. I tend to use a handful of meat - for smaller or bigger burgers adjust cooking times.
    6. Fry the burgers until the outside is browned and transfer to a baking tray. Pop in the oven with the potato wedges approximately 20 mins before the wedges are ready.
    Job jobbed!!!

*** TIP: Add whatever you want to your burgers!! If you are adding a lot of liquid, combat this by adding a little plain flour.

Also, try different herbs / spices on your wedges. Schwartz doa lovely cajun seasoning.***
