Ingredients
- 250g lean minced beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- Β½ tsp tabasco sauce
- 1Β½ tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- Β½ beef stock cube
- Β½ tsp dried oregano
- handful fresh basil (chopped)
- 150g dried spaghetti
- handful parmesan (grated)
- 15g butter

'Spag Bol' has been my favourite dish since being a kid, and I've spent years perfecting this recipe. Enjoy!
Method

1) Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Add the onions and garlic and fry for 5 minutes until softened.
2) Add the minced beef and cook until browned.
3) Stir in the chopped tomatoes and simmer for 2 minutes.
4) Add the tabasco sauce, worcestershire sauce, tomato puree, beef stock cube and dried oregano and season. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
5) Meanwhile boil the spaghetti as per packet instructions. Drain and return to the pan. Add the butter and leave the butter to melt into the spaghetti.
6) Sprinkle the chopped basil over the bolognase and stir into the spaghetti. Sprinkle over the grated parmesan.
