My chili recipe won a cook-off competition in Georgia coming first out of 25 entries. So, I'm quite chuffed with this. It tastes great too!

In a large casserole pot, heat the oil. Fry the onions until they start to brown then add the garlic and fry for a another minute. Add the wine and reduce on the boil for a minute.
Add the minced steak and cook until browned. Add the chili powder and chopped chilies. Mix in, then add the tomato paste and tomatoes then cover and cook for 30 minutes on a medium heat. Stir in the chocolate and kidney beans then cover again and cook on a low simmer for another hour.
Season as required with salt and pepper. Add extra chili powder if you want it spicier.
