These are easy to eat with no mess, making them a great finger food for parties.

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 190C.

    Soak toothpicks in water for 15 mins.

  3. 3

    Cut dates in half and place a almond inside each date.

  4. 4

    Wrap dates with bacon, using toothpicks to hold them together.

  5. 5

    Place on a tray and bake 10 - 15 minutes, or until bacon is brown and crisp.

These look good and easy to make. Bit different from the usual finger buffet fare They'll be finding a place on our New Year party table tonight
