- 250g Plain Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- ยฝ tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 175g Caster Sugar
- 200g Chocolate Chips (White, Milk or Dark)
- 250ml Milk (Semi-skimmed or Whole)
- 90ml Vegetable Oil
- 1 Large Egg
- 1tsp Vanilla Essence (or Extract)

1. Preheat the oven to 200 and fill a 12 bun muffin tray with muffin cases.
2. Weigh and mix together all the dry ingredients in a bowl. ONLY USE 150g OF THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS!
3. Measure and mix all the wet ingredients in a SEPARATE jug.
4. Pour the jug of wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix together well.
5. Spoon the mixture into cases. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips onto each soon-to-be muffin.
6. Bake for 20 minutes or until well risen and springy.
SERVING: Serve with a nice cuppa!
