- 240 ml water
- 90 g uncooked white rice
- 1 slice bacon
- 1/8 onion chopped
- 2-3 stalk celery diced
- 1/3 carrot chopped
- 30 g peas
- 25 g fresh mushrooms sliced
- 25 g almonds
- 25 g raisins
- 1/3 apple - peeled cored and diced
- 50 g cooked chopped turkey meat
- 5 g chicken soup base
- 15 ml soy sauce
- 10 g chopped parsley
- to taste ground black pepper

1.In a medium saucepan bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
2.Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until brown.
3.Mix the onion, celery, carrot, peas, mushrooms, almonds, raisins and apple into the skillet. 4.Slowly cook and stir over medium heat until tender.
5.Mix in the turkey, chicken soup base, soy sauce, parsley and pepper. Mix in the rice. Serve hot.
