Preheat oven to 200oC (400oF or gas mark 6)
Cut your slices of bread into bitesize pieces and place into a bowl. Pour 2 tablespoons of oil over the bread. Spread this out onto a baking tray and place in the oven for 10 minutes until it goes golden brown.
While this is cooking in the oven, boil your eggs in a saucepan. To do this: boil a kettle-full of water and pour the boiling water into a saucepan. Place saucepan on a heated hob of oven and add eggs. Allow to boil for 4 minutes.
While your eggs boil, in a small bowl: mix the lemon juice with 4 tablespoons of oil.
Take eggs off the hob and leave to cool somewhere safe. By this time, th bread should be golden brown in the oven. Take it out the oven and leave on side to cool.
Heat a frying pan and cook your chunks of bacon. This should take about 5 minutes. While it heats, put your salad leaves into a large bowl. When your bacon is cooked, add it to the bowl of salad leaves. you can also add your bread pieces (known as croutons!).
Remove the shell from each egg (be careful if they are still warm to not hurt your fingers!) Add them into the salad bowl.
Drizzle over the oil and lemon juice mix, this serves as a dressing
