- large tub of natural or vanilla yoghurt (or double cream)
- sugar (for Eton Mess) to taste
- 4 large nests or equivalent of meringues
- 1-2 punnets of strawberries hulled and halved (or other berries)

There's Eton Mess, and then there's the much healthier and quicker alternative - Dartmouth Mess - which takes seconds to make, but is just as delicious.

If you're doing the real thing, whisk the double cream with the sugar until just thickened. Then stir in the strawberries and hand-crushed meringue.
If you're doing the healthier option, just stir the ingredients together. Done.
