I cooked the bacon and mushrooms first.
What a great idea, the smoked bacon added to the dish! I have cooked this dish many times before, in fact its in my favourites folder, but not thought of adding bacon or musherooms - I'm so going to try this next time I cook it. Jan did tou cook the bacon first before you added it or do you let it cook in the sauce?
Made this dish tonight, it was just fab. Added abit of smoked bacon and a few mushrooms which needed using up. Will def make this dish again.
Have got all the ingredients for this so will give it a go tomorrow. It really does sound good.
Sounds great - did it taste good?
Very very good. I had some St agur left over and I added a bit of that too :)
