Fleurie Georges Duboeuf

The most favored of all the Beaujolais Cru, Fleurie enjoys a very floral bouquet with a refined, smooth taste. An elegant, beautifully made more-ish red with wild strawberry fruit and a fleshy texture.Buy this wine if you like: Light-bodied red with ripe fruit, perfect slightly chilled on a warm summer afternoon.

Description

I know this isn't exactly an authentic recipe, but me and my family like it.

Method

  1. 1

Cook all vegetables seperately first on high heat at 375 degrees. Start with onions fried in olive oil until glazed. Then add the hardest vegetables next. Carrots, potatoes, celery, green beans, cabbage and zucchini. Cook each addition seperately for about 5 minutes before adding the next vegetable.
Then add the butterbeans, diced tomatoes, chicken cubes, tomatoe sauce and spices to taste.
Let the soup simmer for 1-2 hours.

This went down a storm in our house....used cheese filled tortellini instead of regular pasta.
