This is a cheap mael and one I have used many times. In winter with mash and peas or cabbage or cold in summer with salad or take it on a picnic - my kids love it!

Chef's Tips
You can really put in what you like to this pie it tastes good hot or cold.
In winter I also add some swede again diced small. I have also put some bacon slices over the top before adding pastry.
I have also made sausage meat into a large roll wrapped it in bacon then rolled in the puff pastry.
I also roll the bacon to stretch it out
