This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.
Description
I like this recipe because it's simple and yummy. Prep is 20 mins and cooking takes 15-20mins. Maybe the kids could help to..
Method
-
1
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celuis/gas mark 5. Use a wooden spoon to cream the butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy. (You can use a mixer if you prefer.)
-
2
Add the eggs a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Sieve the flour into the bowl and carefully fold in using a tablespoon.
-
3
Mix in the milk. Stir until the mixture is smooth and drops off the spoon easily. Divide the mixture between the paper cases(in the tin).
-
4
Bake in the the oven for 15-20 mins until the cakes are risen and golden brown. Remove from the oven and put on a cooling rack.
-
5
Sieve the icing sugar into the bowl. Stir in the warm water. Mix until thick and smooth.
-
6
Spoon the icing onto the cakes. Spread to the case edges with the back of a teaspoon. Use your fave sprinkles and sweets to decorate!
Chef's Tips
*If you want you could add vanilla extract to the mixture after the milk. You could also try lemon and orange together.
*The cakes turn out better if you use a mixer.
