- 130g plain flour
- 1 kg cubed beef stew meat
- 1 onion. chopped
- 4 tbsp sunflower oil
- 240 ml boiling water
- ยฝ tsp ground dried rosemary
- 10g white sugar
- ยฝ tsp dried thyme
- ยฝ tsp dried oregano
- 4g beef bouillon
- 1 can Heinz Tomato Soup
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 tsp hungarian ground paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder

1. Preheat an oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
2. Whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a large bowl, set aside.
3. Dissolve the bouillon cube in the water in a casserole dish, tomato soup, garlic powder, sugar, oregano, thyme, rosemary until blended, set aside.
4. Heat the sunflower oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Toss the beef in the flour mixture to coat. Cook the beef in the hot oil, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
6. Remove the beef to the casserole dish, and reduce heat to medium.
7. Stir in the onion, and cook until the onion has softened , about 5 minutes. Stir the onion into the beef mixture.
8. Cover, and bake in the preheated oven until the meat is very tender, 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
