Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Method

  1. 1

    1. Place potatoes in a large pan of boiling water and boil for 5 - 10 minutes or until soft (this will depend on size of potatoes).
2.drain potatoes and allow to cool.
3.Once cool Scoop out a small but deep hole in each of the potatoes using the vegetable peeler, make sure not to go all the way through the potato or the filling will fall out.

4.Now in a bowl place the grated cheese and cut the bacon into small pieces and put it in the bowl.

5.Now add a small amount of salt and pepper not too much as you can always add a bit more when serving.

6.Now thoroughly mix all the ingredients.

7.Using the teaspoon, pack the mixed ingredients into each of the prepared potatoes.
8.Place the filled potatoes on the baking tray and cook for around 20 minutes on 170, or until the cheese looks golden.

9.When ready put on plates to serve or allow to cool and pack in air tight containers and take on a picnic.

Chef's Tips

When cutting the bacon I find it easier to use the kitchen scissors to cut the bacon straight into the bowl as it saves having to wash a chopping board.
