A simple recipe to make ordinary carrots taste delicious

Put carrots in pan with enough stock to cover them. Add sugar and salt. Bring to the boil then lower the heat and simmer for about 15 mins or until carrots are tender and stock has evaporated. Stir in the cream and parsley and hear very gently, add any seasoning and serve immediatley.
