- 2lb Potatoes
- 1 or 2 tins baked beans
- 1 tin spam
- some cheese. grated
- milk
- butter
- salt and pepper

This is a cheap and cheerful recipe that my mum used to make and the pennies were scarse.
Method

Peel and boil the potatoes.
Mash the potatoes with the milk, butter salt and pepper.
Roughly cube up the spam, and place in a suitably sized casserole dish to hold all ingredients.
empty tin or tins of beans over the spam.
top with the mashed spuds, then sprinkle over the grated cheese and place in a pre heated (180c) oven for around 20 mins.
you can make different variations according to what you have on hand, but the beans and spuds are a must.
