Origin Pinot Grigio Organic

The nation's favourite tipple in an organic bundle. A great value wine,Β from Italy's ever popular Pinot Grigio grape. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy pear and peach notes and soft floral aromas

Description

I have grown up with really easy sauce and I've been emeaning to put it on here for a while! So here we go! :D

Method

  1. 1

    1. Heat your olive oil over a low heat and gently infuse it with the finely chopped garlic. If the oil gets too hot to begin with, take it off the heat and let it cool to ensure that the garlic doesn't burn.
    2. Turn the heat up and add the minced beef and brown the meat all over for around 3-4 minutes.
    3. Add the tomato puree and cook that out for 1 minute or so - stirring continuously.
    4. Then add your blended chopped tomatoes and stir. (Tip: when emptying the tins, rinse the tins with water to remove all the tomato juice and blend that with the chopped tomatoes too).
    5. Finally add the dried and fresh basil, sugar, salt and a good amount of black pepper to taste.
    6. Stir this and bring to the boil. Once boiling, turn the heat down and simmer for around 45 minutes to an hour stirring every so often to prevent it catching.

You can remove the meat to make it a vegetarian sauce.
