- 3 tblsp golden syrup
- 8 oz Quaker Oats
- 12 oz Self Raising Flour
- 100g chocolate chips

A delicious, gooey and scrumptious flapjack recipe that will keep you coming back for more

1. First you need to melt butter,sugar and syrup in a Pyrex bowl in the microwave.
2. Then stir all the ingredients together when warm soft and gooey.
3. Now weigh the Quaker oats and flour and then mix them thoroughly together.
4. Add the mixture of butter,sugar and syrup to the dry ingredients and fold together well
5. Get a large oven tin and grease well with butter
6. Spread the mixture evenly into the tin and bake in hot oven(400F/ 200C)for 15 to 20.
Chef's Tips
- If you like them gooey then cook for 15 mins BUT if you like them more crunchy then cook for 20 mins or longer but be careful not to BURN!!
- This recipe will only serve 12 people if they are not greedy.

These look good, but there's no chocolate in them. Why are they called chocolate flapjacks?
