This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

Sticky flapjacks

Method

  1. 1

Melt the butter/margarine with the sugar and syrup.

  2. 2

Stir in the rolled oats and mix thoroughly.

  3. 3

Turn into a greased shallow 20cm (8 inch) square tin.

  4. 4

(This can also be lined with greased grease proof paper to prevent any sticking).

  5. 5

Smooth the top with a palette knife.

  6. 6

Bake in a preheated moderate oven, 180 C (350 F), Gas Mark 4, for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.

  7. 7

Cut into slices while still warm.

  8. 8

Cool completely before removing from tin.

  9. 9

Once the flapjacks have been removed from the tin, if they are slightly soft, pop them into an airtight container.

  10. 10

Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes until they harden a tiny bit.
