Spread the sausage meat over the base of a square gratin dish or similr. Make up the stuffing mix, spread over the sausage meat. Top with the mashed potato, forking the top so it crisps and browns (I sprinkle some suet over the potato to give this effect). Cook at 190C for 40 minutes. Serve with apple sauce, green vegetables and gravy.
