Green Bean Sauté
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
- 1/3 cup finely chopped white onions
- ½ cup vegetable stock
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 ½ cups green beans. cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 ½ cups sliced. raw mushrooms
- ½ cup white wine

We, as a rule use this vegetable dish when we dish up a good meaty fish just plainly grilled and plus served with steamed new potatoes

Sauté the first three ingredients over a medium to high heat in a frying pan for a few minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the ½ cup of vegetable stock and let simmer for a minute or so more. Then add the green beans, sliced mushrooms, and wine.
Cover and let simmer over medium heat for a few minutes.
Remove the cover and simmer until the beans reach the desired tenderness.
Serve and Enjoy!

They are awfully pleasant on a tuna salad and with nearly all other grilled meats and fish.
