- 1 Onion
- 250g Diced chicken
- 200g Tin of chopped tomatoes
- 100 ml Water
- 100 ml Cream (or plain yogurt)
- 1 sachet Patak's Easy Tikka Masala Paste for Two

Tikka Masala would have to be the front runner in a popularity contest for Britain's favourite curry.

1. Dice and fry the onion in a pan with a bit of oil until soft.
2. Add the sachet of Patak's Easy Tikka Masala paste and fry for 3 minutes.
3. Add the diced chicken and fry until sealed (about 5 mins)
4. Add the tin of tomatoes and let reduce for 5 minutes
5. Add the 100ml of water and leave to cook for 15 minutes
6. Serve piping hot with naan, rice and a selection of pickles and chutney
Thanks for spotting. The cream / yoghurt is stirred in at the end of the preparation, after the meat / vegetables are fully cooked. And then left for a few minutes before serving.
