- ยฝ tsb Five Spice
- 1 ยฝ tsb Corn Flour
- 1 tsb Sesame Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 Can Coke

1. Marinate the Chicken Wings. Put all the Chicken Wings in a large bowl. Add the five spice, corn flour, sesame oil and few pinch of salt and pepper. Leave for about 10 - 15min.
2. It is best to use a frying pan the comes with a lid, if you haven't got one the it doesn't matter. Hot pan, add olive oil. Add the Chicken Wings in and brown the skin (this is to lock-in the flavour).
3. Once both side of the wings are browned add in the garlic, scallion and star anise. If your frying pan doesn't have a lid then transfer to another pan the has, large enough to cover the chicken wings.
4. Pour in one can of coke or enough to cover the Chicken Wings slightly. Add some more salt and pepper. Wait until boil and simmer for 35 - 45min.
5. Once done the sauce should become thick and the meat will be so tender it will just fall off the bone when you bite into it. You can also finish off with some sesame seeds on top.
