Ingredients
- 6 oz uncooked shortcrust pastry
- 1 large tin condensed milk
- 1 tsp. instant coffe
- 1 oz castor sugar
- ½ pt. double cream
- 1 large banana

Immerse can of condensed milk-unopened-in boiling water. Cover and boil for 3 hours. Remove from water and cool completely before opening. Line 8" flan tin with pastry and bake blind. Whip cream with coffee and sugar until thick and smooth.
Empty coffee mixture into flan. Spread. Chop bananas over top and finish by spooning or piping on the cream.
Is there a mistake in this recipe? Apart from boiling the can of condensed milk it doesn´t say what to do with it, but it does mention cream twice, should one of these be the cool condensed milk?
