- 8 oz. S.R. Flour
- 4 oz. Butter
- 8 oz. Apple
- 3 oz. Sugar
- to moisten Milk

Easy cake similar to a banana cake - uses the apple within the cake mixture
Method

1. Peel, core and chop apples.
2. Rub butter into flour and add the apple
and sugar.
3. Work this all together into a soft dough
with a little milk and form into round,
flat cake about an inch thick.
4. Bake on a greased tin in a moderate oven
for about 20 minutes.
5. Split, butter and eat hot.
