Muscat Beaumes de Venise Sweet Wine

Beaumes is famed for its wine made from the Muscat grape. Rich, sweet and luscious with a touch of white flower on the finish. A delicious and subtle dessert wine. Buy this wine if you like: Sweet dessert wines that are lighter in style.

Description

I made this for myself one day to use up a punnet of strawberries.

Method

  1. 1

Crush gingernut biscuits and place in the bottom of a serving bowl or glass. Make a cup of hot, sweet black coffee and leave to cool. Once cool, pour over the crushed gingernut biscuits. Use 1 to 2 spoonfuls of sugar, depending on how sweet you would like it to be, and stir into the cream cheese. Layer the sweetened cream cheese on top of the gingernut biscuits then pile the cut strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
